Municipal Market Supervision Administration launches special inspection of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders
Liquefied petroleum gas, commonly known as gas, is an old friend used by many partners for cooking. Switching on and off the gas stove for cooking and cooking soup every day is something that every family is familiar with. However, once improper use causes a fire or explosion, it may destroy a family!
To this end, in order to strengthen the safety management of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders and ensure the safety of the use of gas cylinders, the Municipal Market Supervision Administration recently launched a special inspection of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders.
During the inspection process, law enforcement officers carried out special equipment safety supervision inspections on 36 petroleum and liquefied gas distribution stations within the jurisdiction of the city, focusing on checking whether there were unlicensed and unlicensed operation of the supply stations and the overdue use of gas cylinders. After investigation, it was discovered that an unlicensed LPG sales outlet detained 173 LPG cylinders suspected of not meeting the safety technical standards. Law enforcement officers also publicized the "Special Equipment Safety Law" and the service period and use of LPG cylinders to various units. It emphasizes the prohibition of using waste gas cylinders and steel cylinders that have not been inspected after the expiry date, and strengthens the safety awareness of users.
Remind again: Check regularly and replace in time according to the service life; refuse to use inferior gas products; develop good usage habits; if there is a gas leak, keep calm and handle it correctly.
