After the new crown virus, many people were lifted from quarantine, which also allowed LPG to rise accordingly.
According to the Dushanbe news agency of the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum Supply, it was reported on the evening of July 4 that the price of liquefied petroleum gas sold at automobile gas stations in Tajikistan rose by 35% in the past week. In March and April this year, the price of liquefied gas per liter was less than 3 somoni, and now it has risen by almost 1 somoni. Some experts believe that the rise in the price of liquefied gas is because more and more cars are on the road after the quarantine is lifted. When people stayed at home to prevent the epidemic, the price of liquefied petroleum gas dropped by about 50%. Now that there are more cars on the street, the demand for fuel has increased, and the price has risen accordingly. Most transportation in the tower uses relatively cheap liquefied gas.
Tajikistan mainly imports vehicle fuels from Russia and Kazakhstan. Last year, it imported 430,000 tons of liquefied gas, 180,000 tons of gasoline and 250,000 tons of diesel.
